The late night talk shows feature the most current stories in celebrity news and pop culture. The guest line-ups for the late night shows for Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, are listed below.
"Jimmy Kimmel Live," which airs on ABC Television Network, has been moved up a half hour and is now in direct competition with broadcasts a half hour earlier on ABC Television Network, going head-to-head with "Late Night with David Letterman," on CBS Television Network, and "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," on NBC Television Network.
"Nightline" is still be on ABC, but the news program will follow "Jimmy Kimmel Live" instead of preceding the comedic talk show. "Nightline is up against the comedy talk shows The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon, on NBC, and "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson," on CBS.
Following is the guest lineup for Wednesday, Jan. 9, on late night television shows.
"Jimmy Kimmel Live" on ABC (11:35 p.m. ET): Guests include Ryan Gosling ("Gangster Squad") and Country Music star Brad Paisley.
"Late Night with David Letterman" on CBS (11:35 p.m. ET): Guests include actor Josh Brolin ("Gangster Squad"); Oscar winning director Kathryn Bigelow ("Zero Dark Thirty"); and musical guest Ray Wylie Hubbard.
"The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on NBC (11:35 p.m. ET): Guests include animal expert Dave Salmoni with musical guest Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.
"Nightline" on ABC (12:35 a.m. ET):
"The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" on CBS (12:35 a.m. ET): Comedian Steven Wright; actress Genesis Rodriguez.
"The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon" on NBC (12:35 a.m. ET): Guests include William H. Macy ("Shameless" on Showtime debuts third season), Ginnifer Goodwin ("Once Upon a Time") and celebrity chef Rachael Ray.
