In the Feb. 25 episode of "Castle", the two-parter event for season 5 will see it's conclusion in episode 5x16 "Hunt". After the FBI neglects to find and return Castle's daughter Alexis, Castle will be taking matters into his own hands by running off to Paris, France and searching for her himself. What results from his efforts, however, is a very dangerous situation for the rogue mystery novelist, and a first meeting with his mysteriously absentee father.
"If I'd wanted you dead, you'd be dead."
James Brolin guest stars in "Castle" 5x16 as Castle's father, a man as yet unknown name and origins. Considering he knows how to handle some pretty heavy firepower and single-handedly wiped out all of the men who appeared to be hold Castle hostage in the 5x16 promo pics, we can at least safely assume that Castle's dad is a highly skilled and trained operative of some sort. Is he a CIA spy after all?
“Castle” 5x16 “Hunt” was written by Andrew Marlowe and directed by Rob Bowman. Additional guest cast for the episode includes the return of Dylan Walsh as FBI Agent Harris, Christopher Heyerdahl as Jacque Henri, and Nestor Serrano as Gregory Volkov.
