Restaurants in Miami Beach, South of Fifth are joining together this evening to raise funds for Haiti Earthquake relief.
Taking place at Smith & Wollensky on its second floor and running from 6:30-9 p.m tonight, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be served. Offerings from DeVito South Beach, Joe’s Stone Crab, Red, Tap Tap Haitian Restaurant, Clark’s, and China Grill will be served up along with cocktails provided by: Grolsch, Budweiser, Republic National Distributing Company, Ketel One Vodka, and Coca-Cola. Tickets for tonight’s affair are $100/person. All participating in this fundraising event are donating 100% of the proceeds to Project Medishare/UM Global Institute and EcoWorks International who is “dedicated to improving health in Haiti”. Persons attending are asked to purchase their tickets by check made payable to: “South of fifth fundraiser”.
Project Medishare for Haiti, Inc., is a 501©3 non-profit organization in association with the University of Miami School of Medicine. Medishare is dedicated to sharing its human and technical resources with its Haitian partners in the quest to achieve quality healthcare for all.
