Most of the time animal advocates have a vague feeling that whatever is being done "higher up" or needs to done on behalf of animals is completely dosconnected from those in the trences trying to get the job done. Tonight's discussion, led by HSUS and Grey2k USA should answer a lot of questions, so don't miss it.

Sarasota, Fla. – Cat Depot is hosting a free Effective Advocacy for Animals talk tonight (Thursday, January 30, 2014) from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the Cat Depot Education and Activity Center.

Join Kate MacFall, Florida State Director, The Humane Society of the United States, and Carey Theil, Executive Director, GREY2K USA, in a discussion on

  • current issues facing animals
  • state and national animal legislation
  • what you can do to help animals in your community.

If you are concerned about animal welfare and creating a more compassionate Florida, you should attend this informative and motivational meeting. Florida animals need you to speak up for them -- together we can be a strong unified voice for them.
