Tone Loc collapses on stage, reported Yahoo! News on March 17. The 47-year-old rapper was performing in Iowa this weekend and collapsed after finishing a song. The hip-hop artist was attended to, and eventually fans were asked to leave. The condition of Anthony Terrell Smith, aka Tone Loc, is not known as of this writing. No hospital lists him as a patient.
The "Funky Cold Medina" rapper also collapsed and had a seizure back in 2009 at a concert, allegedly due to overheating. In 1995, he collapsed at a Los Angeles Lakers game, and no reason was given for the incident.
The first thing that comes to many people's minds is the use of Sizzurp or Purple Drank. It is a mixture of vodka, soda and cough medicine typically consumed in a Styrofoam cup, and it can lead to seizures. Lil Wayne, who recently had seizure, consumes the drink.
