Tone Loc collapses while performing a show in Iowa. On March 17, TMZ reported that Tone Loc collapsed due to an unknown cause. He was worked on for a few minutes by emergency personnel and then fans were asked to leave. It is unknown whether or not he was taken to a nearby hospital or what his current condition is.
Tone Loc has had some health issues in the past and this was not his first time collapsing on stage either. He has had seizures and has had issues with dehydration and overheating. It is unknown if any of these things happened at Saturday night's show.
When Tone Loc collapses, people are concerned but given his history, it is likely a recurring issue and not something new. He may have an issue with seizures or he could have some kind of anxiety that makes him pass out. Again, not too many details about what happened are available at this time, but many believe that he is okay.
According to ABC News, local hospitals did not have any public record of him checking in this weekend. Phone calls and emails to his rep were not answered and the bar that sponsored Loc's show did not answer the phone either.
Before Tone Loc collapses again, he really needs to pinpoint what is causing these episodes.
