The Lounge in Akron is preparing to have a birthday celebration in the best way possible...epic Techno performances. In what's being promoted as a birthday celebration for all February birthdays, this show promises to be a real treat to those who celebrate being born in the shortest month of the year.
Starting off things and celebrating his own February birthday is Anthony Jimenez, techno artist, producer, and owner of Khombat Records. Anthony is poised to throw down an amazing set featuring his awesome techno styles. After missing him at the last small show, many are excited to see his next set. His epic mixes can be heard on SoundCloud.
Following Anthony Jimenez is Andy James, another techno artist under the Khombat label as well as the Tek-Know? label. Andy pulls a lot of his influence from more classic techno artists like Depeche Mode and Kraftwerk, and blends those styles with a modern mix. Some of his mixes can be found on SoundCloud.
Next up is a performance from Randomseed, a techno artist and owner of the Tek Know? label. This looks to be a nice performance with more mellow tones and awesome bass as well.
Finishing up the show is Funk Detective. Another collection of great mixes is expected as we hear more of a trance style of techno that is sure to impress everyone. A sample can be found on his Khombat Podcast.
