Tonawanda Dance Arts, a well-established and growing dance studio in Tonawanda, is searching for a part-time acrobatics/dance instructor to begin during the upcoming 2013-14 dance season. The candidate must be well versed in acrobatics and dance and have experience working with children ages 7 through pre-teen. They are looking to fill position immediately and are offering competitive compensation determined upon education and experience level.

Experience: Candidates should have 2 to 3 years of experience working as an acrobatics instructor for a dance studio. Preferred candidates will either have or be working towards their bachelors degree in a dance-related field, as well as at least 5 years of experience working as an acrobatics instructor for a dance studio. They will also consider candidates who hold a professional teaching certification from an accredited organization, such Dance Masters of America or Dance Educators of America, or who have experience working in a gymnastics setting.

Qualifications: The candidate must be a self-motivated individual who has the patience to work with children of all ages and abilities, has strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Candidates must be available Wednesday evenings for classes.
