Tommy Davidson's "Chocolate Sundaes": The star-studded premiere

As a member of the hit sketch-comedy show "In Living Color" Davidson combined savvy satire with cartoon like facial expressions to keep audiences laughing out loud.

Now, with over two decades in the game Davidson is once again giving people that familiar pain in their stomach, the one that comes from busting out, cracking up and ROTFLMAO!

With some help from his friend and "Chocolate Sundaes" producer, Pookey Wigington as well as Michael Jai White, "Real Husbands of Hollywood" star JB Smoove and a slew of Hollywood's power players, Davidson hosted a premiere screening of the new show, which is based on the well-known Sunday night tradition of the same likeness that takes place at the world famous Laugh Factory in Hollywood, where careers are made (and Michael Richards' was destroyed)!

The new "Chocolate Sundaes" show, which Pookey Wigington secured on the Showtime Network, features a balanced attack of stand-up comedy and original sketches. It caters to a diverse audience with a unique brand of humor that covers cultural idiosyncrasies, relationships, race relations etc.

At the premiere, which took place in Beverly Hills, the audience got a chance to see the debut episode, as well as ask questions to "Chocolate Sundaes" creators. And after the show? As anyone who's ever listened to R. Kelly knows is the after party!

"The event was amazing," exclaimed the show's Pookey Wigington, adding, "Chocolate Sundaes has stood on the shoulders of many young and seasoned comedians for years. The talent pool in Hollywood is so broad and this is a true testament to it by having such a diverse cast, led by legendary comedic actor Tommy Davidson."

"Chocolate Sundaes" has been a staple in Hollywood for years and has included some of the biggest names in comedy, such as Dave Chappelle, Jon Lovitz, Chris Rock, Russell Peters, Jamie Foxx, Cedric The Entertainer, Kevin Hart, Katt Williams and many more. Over the years the weekly event has branded itself a place where you can discover the next emerging superstar, and you never know who will show up.

Don't miss Tommy Davidson's "Chocolate Sundaes" playing all throughout February on Showtime. Check your local listings.
