Tommy Bahama and Major League Baseball continue to strengthen a bond that's been growing over the past several years.

On April 15, at the Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar, Tommy Bahama presents a new speaker series "The Rundown with Steve Garvey”. Guests will include Los Angeles Dodger greats, Maury Wills and Tommy Davis in a Tribute to Jackie Robinson and Major League Baseball.

The event is intended to benefit the Baseball Assistance Team (B.A.T.), an organization that was founded to assist the “Baseball Family” in need, according to a Tommy Bahama press release. A portion of the proceeds and 10% of all retail sales made in the Tommy Bahama Palm Desert store on April 15, will be donated to B.A.T.

The event will take place on Jackie Robinson day, and these Dodger legends are coming together to honor him: 10-time All-Star, Steve Garvey, three-time World Series champion and stolen base legend, Maury Wills, and two-time National League batting leader, Tommy Davis.

Guest will be able to meet and greet, take pictures and receive a Rawlings baseball autographed by all three. Afterwards, Garvey will be hosting, undoubtedly, one of the best Q&A sessions where they will discuss the game, the upcoming 2014 season, and the great Jackie Robinson.

In what will be a stellar event, this is only the first in a series. On deck May 15 is one of the greatest catchers of all-time, Hall of Famer Johnny Bench.
