‘Tomb Raider’ gets more ‘Caves and Cliffs’ later this month (Photos)

Following the recent release of the “Tomb Raider” reboot on Mar. 5, 2013, publisher Square Enix announced yesterday that they would be releasing a new DLC map pack for the multiplayer side of the game, with the Xbox 360 version getting it first exclusively later this month.

The “Caves and Cliffs” map pack will include three new maps for players to battle it out in on all four of the multiplayer game modes. The maps are Scavenger Caverns, Cliff Shantytown and The Burning Village.

The Scavenger Caverns map is an extensive subterranean network of caves, the Cliff Shantytown is a multi-layered scavenger settlement built high in the island cliffs and The Burning Village is an abandoned Japanese village with burning buildings all around. The maps should feel familiar to those of you that have played through the game’s single player already.

Xbox 360 gamers can expect to see the “Caves and Cliffs” DLC on Xbox Live beginning on Mar. 19, 2013 for 400 Microsoft Points. No official date was given for when the DLC will be available to PC and PlayStation 3 gamers.
