“Tomb Raider” was released for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC yesterday, and now new downloadable content is quickly heading our way. Square Enix made an announcement on March 6 that three new maps for multiplayer will be released exclusively for the Xbox 360 on March 19. The DLC is titled “Caves and Cliffs Multiplayer Pack.”
The maps available in the “Caves and Cliffs Multiplayer Pack” DLC are as follows:
- Scavenger Caverns - “An extensive subterranean network of caves used by the island’s scavengers as an underground prison”
- Cliff Shantytown - “This scavenger settlement was built high up on the island cliffs. Its many layers hide some of the deadliest traps on the island”
- The Burning Village - “A raging fire has embraced an abandoned Japanese village, the burning buildings offer multiple ways to escape or engage your enemies”
The Caves and Cliffs Multiplayer Pack will be available for purchase for 400 Microsoft Points. No word yet on whether the DLC will be made available at a future date for PS3 or PC.
