Square Enix has today released a set of three new maps for Tomb Raider in a pack dubbed the Caves and Cliffs Multiplayer Map Pack, out now exclusively for Xbox 360. All three maps can be used in any of the game's multiplayer modes- Rescue, Cry for Help, Team Deathmatch, and Free for All. Developer Crystal Dynamics describes the new settings:
Scavenger Caverns
An extensive subterranean network of caves used by the island’s scavengers as an underground prison.
Cliff Shantytown
This scavenger settlement was built high up on the island cliffs. Its many layers hide some of the deadliest traps on the island.
The Burning Village
A raging fire has embraced an abandoned Japanese village, the burning buildings offer multiple ways to escape or engage your enemies.'
Square also released a trailer commemorating the occasion, shown below. Players can download the Caves and Cliffs Multiplayer Map Pack now from the Xbox Marketplace for 400 MSP. There's no word yet on whether or not the DLC will hit the PS3 and PC later on, but we'll keep you posted with news on that front.
