Universal Orlando Resort features two theme parks and four on-site hotels if you want to stay right in the middle of all the fun. The newest is Cabana Bay Resort, but there are three others hotels that have been there for quite a while. All for properties are Loews hotels, and the company's senior vice president of operations, Tom Roditus, was on hand to talk about them at the Cabana Bay grand opening on March 31.
Click the video accompanying this article to hear Roditus talk about Cabana Bay and the other three properties (Hard Rock, Portofino Bay, and Royal Pacific), each of which has its own distinct personality and theming. The three original hotels all off walking paths or boats to the theme parks and unlimited Express access in the ride lines. Cabana Bay doesn't offer Express, but you can walk or take a free bus to the parks and, like the other hotels, guests there get into the Wizarding World of Harry Potter an hour early.
