On Feb. 28 the American rock band Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers announced headlining tour dates on their official website for the spring and summer of 2013. The North American tour begins in Evansville, Ind. on May 16 and ends in Minneapolis, Minn. on June 29. You can view a complete list of tour dates below.
During Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers' spring and summer 2013 North American tour the band will perform 21 concerts over a month and a half long time span. They will headline a handful of festivals including the Hangout Music Festival, Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, Firefly Music Festival, and at Summerfest.
This spring they will also perform residencies in New York and in Los Angeles. In New York their five-night residency will be at the Beacon Theatre and in Los Angeles their six-night residency will be at The Fonda.
According to an issued press release the band is currently working on their thirteenth studio album, which will be released in 2014 via Reprise Records. It will be the follow-up to their 2010 release, "Mojo" which reached No. 2 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.
