Most Tokio Hotel fans know that Tom Kaulitz, Tokio Hotel guitarist and brother to Bill keeps a blog on tokiohotel.com. Well, according to the Designers Against AIDS (DAA) website, Tom is keeping the dangers of HIV/ AIDS on people’s minds.
Tom Kaulitz's latest blog post (10.10.10) highlighted the importance of HIV/ AIDS awareness very simply. He posted a haunting video that asks, “How do you create awareness for something you can not really see? The video the plays is a dramatic video of people being overtaken by a violent, yet unseen force. It’s a powerful piece of short filmmaking, which is hosted by One Life HIV's channel on YouTube and definitely gets the point across.
Tokio Hotel fans may recall that Tokio Hotel has been very generous with its support to the AIDS awareness group. Last year, Tokio Hotel participated in a month-long fundraiser that started on World AIDS Day. Tokio Hotel has also vowed to continue its support of the DAA. The latest action that Bill and Tom Kaulitz personally have taken to support this effort is to donate three never-before-seen pictures of themselves to an upcoming DAA commemorative book. Tokio Hotel fans can take a sneak peek at the front cover mock up for the book here.
