Tom Cruise recently sold his 10th floor East Village condo in NYC for $3 million. The 2,200 square foot apartment contains two bedrooms, two baths and a gym and is housed in the American Felt building. US Weekly reported on February 14 that Cruise has sold the building because he has no use for it anymore.
Tom Cruise shared the apartment with ex-wives Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes and reportedly only held onto it for when he, Katie and Suri needed a home in the city. Because he is hardly ever in NYC anymore and Katie has made her own home with Suri in a Manhattan Chelsea neighborhood apartment, there is no longer any need to keep the condo.
Katie Holmes (34) and Suri moved to the Manhattan apartment, for $12,500 a month, soon after she filed for divorce from Tom Cruise last summer.
Rumors that Tom Cruise sold the home because of memories of his life with Katie Holmes and Suri may have some bearing on the decision.
