According to Cinema Blend on Dec. 11, Tom Cruise is starring in a new movie trailer for "Edge of Tomorrow". Along with Cruise co-stars Emily Blunt as their characters take on a repeated time loop situation in order to win a war that was foreseen previously as having been lost. These repeated time loops educate Cruise's character, Major William Cage, as he joins up with Rita Vrataski, played by Blunt, as they both get closer to defeating the onslaught of aliens that overrun Earth.

Though at the age of 51, which was the ripe elderly age of Wilfred Brimely when he starred in the science fiction hit Coccoon, Cruise hasn't slacked off in the ability to play an action hero. Coupled along with working with director Doug Liman, it may prove to be a hit for the summer of 2014. After all the trailer seems to offer up compelling action sequences and upcoming sneak peaks of this thriller will be available at the Embedded UDF Twitter account.

"Edge of Tomorrow" hits theaters on June 6, 2014.
