There was some concern recently that Tom Brady may have been too ill to be better in time for Sunday's AFC Championship game. However, Brady has said, "I feel great," reported ESPN on Jan. 16, 2014. Brady played down missing practice on Wednesday due to illness and said it felt good to be back on the field with his New England Patriots teammates on Thursday.
In regard to his illness, Brady said, "It was nothing. I feel great. Nothing at all." And so he's now looking like he's in good shape for Sunday's AFC championship game against the Denver Broncos. On Thursday he felt his team had a good day at practice with him feeling good to be back on track. He is not at all concerned that missing one day of practice on Wednesday will hurt the chances of the Patriots to win against the Broncos in Sunday's game.
Patriot fans were pretty upset when Brady was out sick on Wednesday. “Good Morning America’s” Josh Elliott said this caused “a global panic,” reports The Washington Post. The Patriots are now working hard to prepare to face Peyton Manning and the Broncos on Sunday. It's good to see Brady feeling so well now with anticipation of a really exciting game to come on Sunday.
