It leaves one to wonder why the news was so hush-hush in Hollywood. Rumors had been buzzing about Gisele Bundchen's possible pregnancy and reports had even hit the newsstands about the couple's newest expectations.
People Magazine confirmed the pregnancy on June 19, 2009 and over a month later, Tom Brady finally confirmed and commented on the news.
"It couldn't be harder than this training camp, so I'll be prepared," Brady joked with ESPN in an interview on Friday.
But this isn't Brady's first baby go-round. Brady already has a baby with former partner, Bridget Monynahan. Even thought he couple ended their relationship in December 2006, Moynahan became pregnant around that time and gave birth to the couple's first on August 22, 2007, John Edward Thomas Moynahan.
Regardless of Tom's fatherhood experience, this baby will be a first for Gisele. The 29-year-told supermodel has said in the past of her diet regime, "I get to eat what I want."
But with a baby on board, the model will have to gain more discipline post-partum.
Gisele reportedly doesn't limit her fitness to just anything eats. Combine her alleged cheeseburger diet with yoga in the morning (peep show, anyone?), recreational sports like volleyball and the occasional extreme sport competition.
Of her pre-baby body, Gisele says, "I'm very comfortable with my body."
