The Toledo Walleye, a new ECHL franchise coming to Toledo, Ohio, this fall, announced today the details for individual ticket sales for the 2009-2010 season. Single-game tickets will officially go on sale at 9:00 a.m. EST on Saturday, August 8, 2009.
Fans can purchase tickets in person at the Toledo Mud Hens box office at Fifth Third Field, by phone at (419) 725-WALL or online at the Toledo Walleye official site.
Comparable to the price of a movie ticket, individual tickets will go for $15 each with children under 12 and senior citizens paying a reduced fee of $13.
Only tickets for 34 of the 36 home games will be available as seats for opening weekend are currently limited to full- and partial-season ticket holders. The Walleye play their first five games of their inaugural season at home at the brand new Lucas County Arena.
The Walleye will also play two pre-season games in the Toledo area, facing the Cincinnati Cyclones at the Tam-O-Shanter Arena on Sylvania Avenue in Sylvania on October 10, 2009, and the Port Huron Icehawks of the International Hockey League on October 11, 2009, at the Team Toledo Ice House on West Alexis in North Toledo. Tickets for both pre-season games are also available via phone and online at $12 each.
