What does a busy band like Tokio Hotel do with their time now that the year is about to wind down? They make plans for next year, of course. During a recent interview, the guys expressed that they’d like to return to America in 2010.

Are you tired of not being able to read everything you want to about Tokio Hotel, because a lot of the information is written in German?

Well, I studied German and speak in fluently. I write stories about the guys of Tokio Hotel and report on information that’s written German as well as English. According to Deadbolt.com, Tokio Hotel is the biggest band to come out of Germany in the last twenty years. 2009 was a great year for the guys, having won the award for “Best Group” at the MTV Music Awards. The guys beat out Green Day, Black Eyed Peas, Jonas Brothers and Kings of Leon for that honor, and it looks like 2010 is shaping up to be as good or better for Tokio Hotel. They’re up for the NJR Award for Best International Band in Cannes, France on January 23rd, and fans of the band are being asked by Tokio Hotel Network to rally behind the band for the 2010 Grammys for “Song of the Year” (Automatic), “Album of the Year” (Humanoid) and “Best New Artist (Tokio Hotel, of course.)

Besides being up for awards, the band is already making plans for being on the road next year. The guys expressed in an interview with Musiqutone.com that they’d like to return to the U.S. in 2010. While they were also quick to say that they couldn’t imagine doing anything else with their lives except play music, Bill himself seems to have the acting bug. He said during recent interviews that he’d like to play a vampire in one of the Twilight movies, and he just recently opened “Arthur und die Minimoys 2” in Berlin.

As for future music career aspirations, both Tom and Bill said they’d like to work with Steven Tyler.
