While fans in Oberhausen wait in tents in the inclement weather for Tokio Hotel to arrive this coming Friday, Tokio Hotel fans in Luxemburg have already had the night they've been dreaming about for a year come true. The German band from Magdeburg opened their Welcome to Humanoid City Tour in Esch Alzette, Luxemburg, according to Luxemburger Wort, a Luxemburg news organization.
If a person only went by the screams of the mostly female fans in the audience, it would be difficult to imagine that the concert didn't sell out. However, “only” 4,000 showed up for the first night of the band's European tour.

One girl in the audience raised a sign above her head telling TH frontman, Bill Kaulitz that it was her birthday.
Give me a hug
the sign said.
According to Wort, the fans braved snow and rain and risked health and hygiene to spend days on end waiting before the concert's venue, the Rockhahl. At 8:45 p.m., the lights went down and out emerged Bill Kaulitz in a science fiction fantasy outfit designed for him by Dsquared2, the designers for whom he walked the catwalk in Milan several weeks ago.
Ear-bending screams filled the concert hall as Kaulitz sang the first words of Komm.
TH fans celebrated as the band went through their old hits.
While the Wort didn't find the concert up to par, that doesn't seem to be a concern to fans. Not only have they braved the rain and sleet, they've been waiting--impatiently--in the middle of the night for pictures and videos from the concert to be posted on Twitter.
