Seeing Tokio Hotel’s name on the list for an awards has become commonplace. Recent band awards and accolades include a 25-year reader’s poll nod from SPIN magazine, the Musiqwards and the Rockbjörnen. It looks like the German band from Magdeburg will have to make more room on their shelves; J-14 Magazine has nominated Tokio Hotel for their “Teen Icon Awards”

Iconic Fan Favorite Award
According to PromiCabana.de, Tokio Hotel will take its place among the nominees in the category of “Iconic Fan Favorite”. Artists nominated in that category include, Cody Simpson, David Archuleta, Glee, The Kardashian Sisters and Lady Gaga. This should come as no surprise to Tokio Hotel fans, who according to recent reports flooded the website Swift Fan Award to win a chance to go to the EMA’s in Madrid.
Other award categories include “Iconic Couple” in which stars like “Twilight’s” Robert Pattinson and Kristin Stewart as well as Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are nominated. For luminaries like Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez there’s the “Iconic Heart” award for doing good deeds.
