Last year, American Idol superstar, Adam Lambert made headlines when he admitted that his star crush was none other than Tokio Hotel frontman, Bill Kaulitz. Since then, many people have accused the American Idol star of copying Bill's style, and this idea now seem to follow Lambert around wherever he goes. The latest one appears in GingerGeneration.it. Lambert sets the record straight in a pretty classy way.

Some Tokyo Hotel fans got all obnoxious and lost a lot of potential US fans by their bizarre behavior. Adam has been dressing like that when Bill was a little child on the play ground. As Adam said they have similar styles. Does that mean people who go around dressing in jeans and T-shirts all copy each other? It's not all the Tokyo Hotel fans but there is a segment of them that are obnoxious. They have turned Adam off of talking about Bill and they have turned off a lot of people who like Adam from even checking out Bill's music. This is when fans can do more harm than good to the artist they support. I think Adam went from liking Bill to now not even wanting to mention his name. Way to go TH fans. Way to shut Bill out of the US market.
@getsomecommonsense: You spelled Tokyo wrong. It's actually Tokio but that's a common error. Not all of TH fans are as you described. I never thought Adam Lambert was copying Bill. There styles are just barely similar but not much. Their music is totally different, their hair is different and they look nothing alike. It's the press who kept pushing that idea. Unfortunately the younger, more immature fans were the ones who were behaving in that as you say obnoxious manner. Don't let them turn you off of TH. They are fantastic and I hope they do break into the US market.

Stop trying to put them against each other! They have similarities but they're different! Adam is cool and Bill is cool. So what if Adam likes Bill. Let him. It helps both of their careers and as fans we shouldn't be hateful of anyone who dislikes who we like. We're entitled to our own opinions. Respect it and move on.

Look, Adam's straight up copying Bill even though he denies it because Bill's style is too unique and unusual. It has less to do with the colors but more about the style and similarities. Adam did not appear that way during the idol auditions. He's been easing in on the looks since his mention on celebrity crushes.
Bill doesn't want Adam's attention. He mentioned so metaphorically; in an interview that he didn't bother to see Adam's music video. Adam should realize his efforts been rejected.
@Get: We should thank the TH fans for encouraging Adam to stop posing. TH seems very happy where they are with their huge fan base already. They'd probably lose their originality by being more exposed to the US, especially through Adam b/c his idol music vs. TH will never rock out that way.

So I am not quite sure why everyone is arguing, but I think Adam Lambert has killer vocals and is an amazing performer. I aslo think the same of Bill Kaulitz. I do think both are pretty good looking too. I love their music and it's a bonus that they are nice to look at LOL. :)
