Tokio Hotel is #1 again on the charts

Tokio Hotel has had its naysayers in recent months, who have predicted the band is all but washed up. However—and thankfully—the band has other plans. Germany’s most famous band from Magdeburg has shown up its critics again. According to Promiflash.de, Bill, Tom, Gustav and Georg have once again landed on the #1 spot on the charts!

Tokio Hotel’s DVD, “Humanoid City Live” is burning up the charts in Brasil, Columbia, Chechnya, Switzerland and Malaysia. The album jumped directly from zero to number one on the charts in Germany and France in July, Promiflash is reporting. In Spain, Belgium and Portugal, the album reached #2.

As of today, the DVD/ CD combo set of “Humanoid City Live” ranks #2451 on Amazon.com, rising in popularity over 2,000 spots on the site. 

True fans have always known better.

    I agree, Tokio Hotel are a great band and they are making that transition from teen boy band to mature young adult band, they need time and I applaud them for learning the business, following there plan and not just letting themselves be over marketed and over exposed so that they get sterotyped as a 1 hit wonder. I think they have great people looking out for them and the guys have a strong bond between them and they need to never let fans, press or egos destroy that. I love them and I hope they come to the US soon.
