With regularity, Tokio Hotel fans log onto Amazon.com to download Tokio Hotel songs as well as to buy Tokio Hotel CDs and DVDs, merchandise and books. The big news today is that Tokio Hotel drummer, Gustav Schafer is celebrating his 22nd birthday. TH fans are busily twittering away about the big day, but who know if a Tokio Hotel Twitter trend will develop; it’s too soon to tell. Also, this week has been a big week for the band in general. The band’s website won 3rd place in an SEO visibility ranking, and Tokio Hotel designers, Dsquared2 just signed a deal that could net several billion dollars over the next 17 years. Finally, fans are busy online trying to get Tokio Hotel noticed at the EMA’s. One thing is for sure, if anyone’s fans can get the band on the list, it’s Tokio Hotel’s fans.
In terms of the band’s daily rankings on Amazon, over all the products that this column follows are up, some of them dramatically. The Tokio Hotel band logo is up in rank by about 10,000 spots, “Tokio Hotel Fever” is up almost 30,000 places and “Tokio Hotel TV—Caught on Camera” has moved up almost 18,000 spots from yesterday. “Scream” slipped in its ranking, but only by about 2,000 point. “Humanoid City Live” has gone back up by over 1,500 points. Great job guys!
