The band Tokio Hotel is no stranger to awards and accolades. Just recently, the members of Tokio Hotel were awarded the “Best Band” in a 25-year reader’s poll in “Spin” magazine and the "Concert of the Year" and "Foreign Song of the Year" at the Rockbjörnen Awards 2010. The fans had everything to do with the band winning the reader’s poll and Tokio Hotel fans can have a hand in making sure that Tokio Hotel wins again—this time for the MTV EMA’s.

Fans who’d like to see Bill, Tom, Georg and Gustav add another award to their shelves can go online starting September 20th and vote for their favorite fantastic four for the best regional act.
The top five winners of that will go into the running for the “Best European Act”, according to the MTV EMA’s Facebook page.
Tokio Hotel won in 2009 for “Best Group”. In 2008, the band received the “Headliner” award, despite being relatively unknown in the UK at the time, according to MTV.
The EMA’s will go up on November 7th. Each year the awards show changes location. This year it’ll be held in Madrid, Spain.
