Toddlers can get messy with nature at Irvine Nature Center

Spring is arriving after a long cold winter that brought record snows and low temperatures. We will be able to enjoy the outdoors and celebrate spring. It is a great time for small children who are itching to get outside. Rather than have them play for the sake of being kids, why not mix it up with fun and educational nature activities. Local nature centers offer little ones the opportunity to understand and appreciate nature.

Muddy Buddies
On Wednesday, April 2 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., the Irvine Nature Center is offering the three week Muddy Buddies: Toddler Series, a program suitable for ages 1 through 3 with an adult. This series continues Wednesdays, April 9 and 16.

The cost is $35.00 for members and $50.00 for non-members for individual sessions. Pre-registration is required as walk-ins are not allowed. You can register online by clicking here.

Toddlers can get messy as they explore nature and art play, creating a strong love of nature and the environment around them. Remember to dress to make a mess of your “art making”.
