"Toddler tattoo" video sparks outrage

A controversial video sprang up earlier this week on Youtube and has been spreading like wildfire on the web. The video shows a crying child, who looks about three years old, being held down and forcibly tattooed. Despite his screams of pain a woman who may be his mother holds him down as a man tattoos his arm. The video is obviously very disturbing.

The major question now is where did this video originate It is rumored to have been somewhere in Cuba, and may be associated with a cult or child trafficking. Tattoos are common in many indigenous religious practices, though rarely if ever done on children. Tattooing and branding is very common in the human trafficking and slavery trade, in which the subject is branded for identification by those in the business.

The disturbing video has sparked conversations on child abuse and what can be done to find the people who made the video. There are still many unanswered questions: Where was this filmed? Who filmed it? Is it part of some cult or human trafficking ring? Or, as some have asked, is it a fake video?
