A toddler carrying a baby doll was found wandering alone in diapers along a road in Surry County, N.C . The little girl was rescued by a passing motorist, who called 911 for help.
The narrow road, with no shoulder, allows drivers limited visibility, which could have been disastrous for the child.
The girl and her mother, Tammy Medlind, from Charlotte, were visiting her grandparents, who told police where Medlind might be.
She was found at a local bar called ‘The Vanishing Point,’ and now faces misdemeanor charges for child neglect.
