Todd Faircloth Texas wins in Texas by four pounds

The final draw between the final twelve bass Pros on Sabine River comes to a close. Todd Faircloth won The Challenge, Bassmaster Classic berth and a check for $100,000. Faircloth won by throwing a Strike King Swimming Caffeine Shad and if one would miss that then he’d throw a five-inch Strike King Ocho. Todd Faircloth schooled 16-8 day two on top of day one’s 10-7 leaving the second weigh-in with 26-15. Day three he uncovered 7-14 for 34-13 and second place. The final day brought 14-9 and 49-6 and the win by four pounds.

Dean Rojas down to the wire, day one in the lead for 15-10 and the fatted bass at 5-15. Day two in second place for 10-14 and day three and the number one spot 11-14 and 38-6. Only in fishing could Rojas have fished 4-6 and still managed to come in second place for the final weight of 42-12.

In third place,Terry Scroggins in fourth place, 9-11 on day one and a Big Carhart Bass weighing 6-1 in fourth place 14-10, and 24-5. The third day of the Bassmaster tournament on the Calcasieu River Scroggins boated 7-1 and 31-6. Today 9-11 and 41-1.

Fourth place, Ish Monroe in sixth place and 11-3 on day one of “The Challenge,” and the second day he was sixth again with 1-9 and 21-9. Coming in to land day three with 9-15 and 31-11. Monroe weighed-in with 8-5 for an even 40-pounds.

Fifth place, Bill Lowen, scored 9-pounds even day one and 9-4 more on the second day of The Challenge for 18-4 on the river for the tenth, 9-1 more and 27-5 for day three. The final day in Texas Bill Lowen moves from tenth to number five with 10-14 and 38-3.

Sixth place, Bobby Lane from out of now where, well not the top ten anyway, 9-15, 7-0, 9-13, and 8-7 today for his final weighted score of 35-3.

Seventh place, Jeff Kreit for 10-13 on the first day of the shoot out and, 10-9 worth of bass day two for seventh place and 21-6. Day three Kriet lands 9-0 and 30-6. The final draw Kreit pulled 4-10 out of Sabin River for a grand total of 35-pounds even.

Eighth place, Alton Jones on day one 7-10, 10-pounds even and day three 11-9 steadily increasing his bag each day for a total weight of 29-3 at the end of day three. The Jones final stringer 3-6 for 32-9.

Here comes lucky

Ninth place, Mark Davis in second with lucky number 13-13 on the first day in Texas. Second day of the bass tournament Davis moved down to number five, 8-6 and 22-3. The third day he was showing 8-pounds even and 30-3 and sixth place. The last day of the bass tournament he bagged 2-3 and 32-6.

Tenth place, Brandon Card 8-6, 9-1, 9-10 and today 4-9 for a stringer total 31-10.

Where’s the 2013 Bassmaster Classic Champion

Bass angling Pro Cliff Pace brought in the new year and the end of the 2012 Elite season with the Bassmaster Classic Championship and is bringing up the pack in 22nd place and 7-10 day one, 5-4 on day two and day three 5-2 for 28th and 18-1.

Kevin “Grandmaster Title Champion Flash” VanDam brought in three fish for 8-2 day one and four fish yesterday for 20-6 and eight place slides down to number 15 today 3-14 and 24-4. Neither Bassmaster Classic Champion title holder made it to the fourth day to fish.
