Here are some highlights in TV history for today:

On today's episode of "I Love Lucy" from 1952, a pregnancy is acknowledged on-air for the first time in TV history.

On this date in 1968, the special often referred to as "The Comeback Special," but simply entitled, "Elvis" airs. The special features Elvis in mostly stripped-down settings.

The 100th episode of Bob Newhart's second hit series, "Newhart" aired today in 1985.

The final episode of the undercover crime series, "Wiseguy" featuring Ken Wahl as Vinnie Terranova aired today in 1990.

It is announced today in 2004 that following her stint in prison for insider trading, Martha Stewart will return to daytime TV in 2005. She does with "The Martha Stewart Show."
