Despite no longer being a member of the 2012 GOP campaign for President, Herman Cain is still taking plenty of opportunities to speak out on various subjects -- including now his endorsement of Newt Gingrich to win the nomination.
On "The Today Show" Tuesday morning, Cain explained that he decided to hand over his endorsement after looking over his record alongside Gingrich's and determining that the two parties are actually rather close on a number of issues. He also added that this does not mean he will shy away from Mitt Romney if he wins the nomination, but that he is merely for now throwing his support behind Newt.
It was just over a week ago that Cain teamed up with comedian Stephen Colbert at a mock rally, where he said that people should not vote for him (as Colbert requested) and instead use the opportunity to take a look at some of the other candidates on the ballot.
Do you think Cain is really still relevant at this point in the race?
