Sunday, March 16, 2014: The Virgo Worm Full moon arrives today at 1:08 pm EDT. According to the Farmer's Almanac: "The Full Worm Moon was given its name by the Algonquin tribes from New England to Lake Superior. At the time of this spring Moon, the ground begins to soften and earthworm casts reappear, inviting the return of robins. This is also known as the Sap Moon, as it marks the time when maple sap begins to flow and the annual tapping of maple trees begins."
This year's Spring has been a long time coming. People are more ready than ever for warmer weather. They're anxious to put the past away, open windows of opportunity to air out their lives and plant the seeds of their future.
Today's the day to mentally prepare yourself for the new growth that is to come. So... bless your upcoming projects and spend the day organizing and tiding up. Keep in mind that there will be less time for these sorts of things in the days ahead and embarking on a sensible routine now can save valuable time, money and energy as the days to come.
When the winter weather breaks, it's time to get outside to look for hopeful signs that spring is on its way. So don't be lacking in vision or feel insecure. Look for hopeful signs in your life and remember that even after the longest Winter, Spring will arrive. And just like the flowers that bloom in early Spring... so too will success bloom for you.
It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade. ~Charles Dickens, Great Expectations
