Today’s Colorado ski and snow report: winter is staying

More snow fell last night where it counts: along the Continental Divide and up to Arapahoe Basin. As noted yesterday, almost everything remains open at A-Basin, including the East Wall and Montezuma Bowl. A-Basin reports that 32 percent of its expert terrain is still open, and 100 percent of the beginner, intermediate and advanced trails.

There’s a chance for snow all the way through the weekend and into Monday, with the best chance for decent accumulations Saturday night through Sunday night. So, if you’re looking for new snow to ski, Sunday and Monday are your best bets.

Here are the 24- and 48-hour totals….

Arapahoe Basin: 5”, 7”
