Today’s Colorado ski and snow report: winding down yet winding up

The ski season is winding down. Four Colorado ski areas close for the season this weekend: Buttermilk, Durango Mountain Resort, Keystone and Telluride. More will follow next weekend and by the end of April it will only be Loveland and Arapahoe Basin holding the line.

But have no fear; the skiing should be mighty fine this week into next weekend and beyond. Snow is in the forecast every day this week, peaking on Monday and Tuesday.

We expect that next weekend will be amazing, so you best get your turns in while you can and enjoy the various end-of-season festivities (more on those over the course of the week, so stay tuned here).
