Today’s Colorado ski and snow report: today and this week

See also

Some lingering snow fell here and there over the past 24 hours, as you can see in this morning’s report. There hasn’t been much movement on the terrain front since the last terrain report, but then again, most of Colorado’s ski areas are at or close to 100 percent open.

Loveland Pass and 285 all the way across South Park from Kenosha Pass down to Highway 24 are currently closed due to “adverse conditions,” meaning it’s probably quite windy and treacherous.

It’s supposed to be clear today, but quite cold and windy, with some wind chill readings around -30. Ouch! So, if you’re headed up today, bundle up and be careful on the roads, please.

We might see more snow starting up again tomorrow and lasting through Wednesday, but it doesn’t look like we’ll get more than a few inches out of it. We’ll keep an eye on it and keep you updated. In the meantime, here are the 24-, 48- and 72-hour snow totals, in that order, plus the latest terrain update…
