The lingering snow showers noted in yesterday’s Colorado Ski and Snow Report lingered and left anywhere from a quarter-inch to three inches behind here and there.
Anything is better than nothing, obviously, but most Colorado ski areas need a blast of two feet or more of consistent snow to catch up and open everything, a potential that’s simply not going to happen until next week at the earliest.
There is a chance for more snow Tuesday and Tuesday night, but again not much is expected from it. Either way, we’ll update you early Wednesday morning to see what everyone got, if anything.
Since our last terrain update, there’s been very little movement, excepting some decent upward ticks at Breckenridge and Keystone.
It will be very cold again today, but that will start to break tomorrow with sunny skies and highs back in the upper 20s and lower 30s returning by Thursday (Wednesday won’t be as cold, but it’s supposed to be windy).
