Today’s Colorado ski and snow report: the day after Christmas and beyond

As we noted yesterday, it will be relatively quiet in the mountains, weather-wise, into the weekend, though there’s a slight chance of snow starting Saturday night. We don’t expect much, if anything, to accumulate, but you never know…

A “slight chance of snow” is listed every day from Saturday night through New Year’s Day, but again, the National Weather Service is hedging their bets a bit, so don’t count on any snow.

Check back here each morning, because if it does snow we’ll be here to report it. If you don’t see a report, it means there was no snow and nothing has changed from the previous day.

Despite the dry spell we’re heading into right now, the skiing should be great following a full week of fairly consistent snowfall. This morning’s report shows the 24-hour snow totals (in other words: zero, zilch, nada), the seven-day totals in the first set of parentheses and the latest terrain report in the second set of parentheses. Have fun, be safe and have a great weekend!
