Today’s Colorado ski and snow report: south by southwest

See also

The recent pattern favoring the northern and central mountains finally shifted and brought a bunch of snow to Colorado’s southern and southwestern ski areas.

It is expected to snow all through the weekend with the heaviest concentrations in the south and southwest. If we were betting people, we’d put our best bets on a big-time powder day on Sunday.

When we say “big-time,” we again refer you to the south and southwest of the state. Conditions elsewhere should be great, just not “big time.”

Be careful out there and have fun. In the meantime, here are the 24-hour snow totals from across Colorado…
