Today’s Colorado ski and snow report: powder plus

A full day of snow created true powder days at eight of Colorado’s ski areas. We’re defining “powder day” as four inches or more of new snow in 24 hours. You’ll have to read the report below to find out where that powder is to be had today.

There’s still some lingering snow along I-70 this morning, but it’s expected to move out only to be replaced by another wave of snow tomorrow that could last through the weekend. The next round should be more consistent, as far as leaving behind snow for everyone in the state.

Loveland Pass is closed this morning, and as always when it snows up there, it will be somewhat sketchy so exercise maturity and reason whilst driving up there, please.

We’ll keep an eye out on the latest forecast and road conditions, as per usual, and check back here for the latest snow totals and news from Colorado’s ski areas. In the meantime, here are the 24-hour and 48-hour totals in that order…
