This could be a really big week state-wide with snow totals of up to three feet by the time this next round winds down on Saturday. Powder days? Yes. Three of ‘em in a row: today, tomorrow and Saturday.
The best day? Tomorrow, with the potential for two feet of new snow, depending on where you go. However, our guess is that it won’t matter where you go; it will all be good.
And because it will all be good, expect gridlock from hell on I-70, especially on Saturday. If you head up this morning, the roads will be quite sketchy, and Loveland Pass is closed as it usually is these days when it snows up there.
When you browse through the overnight totals below you’ll see some definite favoritism toward the northern and central mountains, but that favoritism is supposed to even out and be a bit more judicious over the next couple of days.
We’ll keep an eye out on the latest forecast and road conditions, as per usual, and check back here for the latest snow totals and news from Colorado’s ski areas. In the meantime, here are the overnight totals…
