The snow continues to pile up in the high country, and finally spread to the southwest corners of Colorado ending the shutouts at Purgatory and Wolf Creek. Loveland Pass is once again closed due to “adverse conditions,” which likely means lots of blowing and drifting snow.

There’s a lot of “blowing snow” in the forecast through Sunday night and then “breezy” or “blustery” through Tuesday. If you’re truly a fair-weather skier, it looks like Wednesday’s a good bet for you.

A-Basin opens Montezuma Bowl this morning, and we’re sure the new snow this week should bring most Colorado ski areas close to or at 100 percent by the end of the weekend. We’ll post a full terrain update either Sunday or Monday morning. In the meantime, here are the overnight, two-day and three-day totals, in that order, from across Colorado…
