It’s fairly wintry up in the mountains this morning, particularly around the Eisenhower Tunnel, Loveland Pass and up and over at Arapahoe Basin.
This wintry weather is expected to last at least through Tuesday, with snow likely through Monday night. There will peaks and valleys, so to speak, with the big peak on Sunday where up to two feet could fall by Monday morning.
Keep your fingers crossed for the best case scenario since the more snow that piles up at A-Basin the more likely it is to stay open through July 4. A-Basin has surpassed the 400-inch mark for the season and most everything is open and ready for you to ski or ride.
More specifically, all levels of terrain are 100 percent open, except for the double-black expert terrain, which is 84 percent open. Enjoy the snow if you go, and here are the 24-, 48- and 72-hour totals so far and in that order…
