Today’s Colorado ski and snow report: Mas Nevada para Colorado

This morning’s report kicks off with the news that Loveland Pass is closed again due to “adverse conditions,” so there’s probably some avalanche danger on the pass.

Other than that, travel should be decent today with new snow virtually everywhere across the state in varying amounts over the past two days. It’s currently snowing in the southwest, west of Vail and northwest up by Steamboat this morning.

It’s supposed to snow pretty steadily throughout the mountains over the next couple of days, with a slight chance here and there after that, depending on how things settle out by tomorrow night and what the next system decides to do.

If we were gamblers, as very occasionally we are, we would bet on the best amounts in the southwest and northwest, as usual. Still, and as you can see from the two-day totals below, the I-70 corridor is getting a nice blanket that will help ensure an excellent second half of the season.

As always, stay tuned here for the latest on what’s coming up and what’s going on. Here are the 24-hour and 48-hour snow totals…
