Today’s Colorado ski and snow report: even more Christmas presents

See also

Generally speaking, this latest round of snow has left behind some decent three-day totals, as you can see in the report below. With more snow on the way today and tonight, Christmas week should be quite good indeed.

We expect the snow will clear out by tomorrow afternoon, and the rest of the week should be relatively clear as we await a little more help to get all the ski areas up to 100 percent open.

The big news yesterday was that Breckenridge will open its new Peak 6 on Christmas Day. The other big news was that Vail opened portions of Blue Sky Basin to bring its total open acreage over 3,000 for Christmas.
