All of Colorado’s ski areas continue to add more terrain as the days go by, even though we haven’t had much snow in the past week. By Christmas Day, who knows how much will be open?

What we do know is that the resorts are working feverishly to get as close to 100 percent open as possible. With another dose of snow expected at week’s end and into the weekend, that might be what they need to get it done.
