Today’s Colorado ski and snow report: big chill day one

There’s powder to be had this morning, so go get some. If you’re heading up to the mountains this morning, be aware that it’s super cold, with temps currently below zero.

The high in the mountains is not expected to exceed the low teens, not counting wind chill, of which there will be a little bit of it about.

The only major issue on the roads, other than they’re icy and snow packed, is that Loveland Pass is closed this morning and will likely be closed most of the day due to “adverse” conditions.

We’re cutting to the chase this morning with the overnight snow totals. We’ll update the terrain report tomorrow morning as we expect a lot more will open in the next couple of days.
