Today’s Colorado ski and snow report: a whale of a day

Let’s cut to the chase… Big totals this morning, and the winner (once again) is Breckenridge with some truly amazing 24-hour totals.

There’s more to come today, though probably not as much. Look for totals today through tomorrow morning of around 4-8 inches, generally speaking. Snow is forecast through Saturday, with a break in the action on Sunday, then more scheduled for next week starting Monday.

Loveland Pass and Berthoud Pass are both closed this morning, though CDOT says it’s trying to get Berthoud Pass open again by 8 a.m.

We’ll keep a lookout on the latest forecast and road conditions, as per usual, and check back here for the latest snow totals and news from Colorado’s ski areas. In the meantime, here are the 24-hour and 48-hour totals in that order…
